Barry Popkin of Huntington, blind pianist who lived for music, dies at 61

Popkin, of Huntington, who passed away April 1, was born blind in 1953, and never saw the world around him. He nonetheless became an accomplished singer and pianist, remembered as a man who used the gift he did have to enrich those who knew him.
