Concert pianist Sam Howard toured the world, then taught music at BSC and UAB

Sam Howard, originally of Fairfield, Ala., became a concert pianist who played in the great concert halls of Europe and at Carnegie Hall in New York. He married Miss Alabama 1961 Delores Hodgens Howard, who died Oct. 24, 2014. She was 77.
